Voice of America by E.C. Osondu
I recently read E.C. Osondu’s Voice of America, a powerful collection of stories about Nigerians at home and in America. If I’d had the energy I would have written about it.
Happily, ChieloZona Eze turned up this review from the British paper Metro that does a nice job in only four paragraphs, largely due to its deployment of the right adjectives: brisk, unadorned, disconcerting, piercing, pitiless, and (my favorite) flinty.
